The Lovebox is a fantastic idea! It is a great way to send love notes, messages of encouragement, or photos. The Lovebox allows you to create creative messages using their app. When you send a message to a Lovebox, the heart on the front will begin to spin, indicating a new message is ready to view. This device is a great way to put a smile on your face or a small on the face of the one you love. I think that this tiny device is an excellent gadget for any long-distance relationship, especially those in different time zones. Seeing that heart spinning when you get home from work is so much fun.

During my college years, I was dating a girl who would eventually become my wife. We lived a 26-hour drive apart, and during the summers, we understood the hardship of a long-distance relationship.

We often wrote each other love notes; I have a box in my home full of those love notes from our college days.

Fast forward to 2023, and we see how long-distance relationships, though still difficult, can be manageable. Technology has truly changed the game, and recently when I got my hands on the Lovebox, I thought of how it would have helped during my college days almost 25 years ago.

Our relationships are important, and they’re worth the investment. I know you understand this; it’s probably why you’re reading this article.

In this article, I will review a gadget that I’m excited to share with you. It’s called the Lovebox. It’s a digital messaging gadget.

What is Lovebox?

In a nutshell, Lovebox is a digital messenger box. It’s how to send love notes in 2023. You have an app on your phone that lets you send creative notes and photos.

The process is simple.

You and your loved one each has a Lovebox. When you want to send a message to your loved one, you use the app on your phone to compose a message, which can be text, an emoji, or a simple drawing.

Once you’re happy with your message, send it to your loved one’s Lovebox.

When your loved one’s Lovebox receives the message, the heart on the front of the box will start spinning, letting them know they have a new message waiting for them.

To read the message, your loved one simply lifts the lid of the Lovebox, and the message will be displayed on a small screen inside.

It’s a simple but charming way to stay in touch with someone you care about. The Lovebox is particularly popular among long-distance couples, parents and children separated by distance, or anyone who wants to send a sweet message to someone special.

Why Would You Want a Lovebox?

I decided to pick up the Lovebox and see if it was worth the $200 price tag.

It seemed like a nifty gadget and a really neat idea. I wanted to see if it was worth the money seeing we can send photos, drawings, emojis, and messages using our phones.

So why would I want a Lovebox? Does it add more value than my phone?

My Review of the Lovebox

First, connecting the Lovebox to the phone app was easy.

You download the app from your phone’s marketplace and follow the on-screen directions. It’s pretty straightforward.

Let’s begin by talking about the Lovebox itself.

Quality

The Lovebox is built well. It’s a plastic shell that looks like a wood finish. It’s a box, which is why they probably call it the Lovebox. The screen is tucked nicely in the box, and the device’s weight signifies that it’s well-built.

I have no complains about the construction of the Lovebox. I never felt like it was cheap or would fall apart after a few times using it.

When I held the Lovebox, I felt high quality.

The Screen

The screen on the Lovebox is surprisingly good quality.

I sent several photos from my phone to my Lovebox and found them comparable in quality to my phone’s. Of course, the screen was smaller at 320 x 240 resolution. It may be difficult for some people to read the text on such a small screen. For me, it was fine.

The App

At the heart of the Lovebox is their app.

You can send creative messages, photos, and more with the app.

I clicked the button at the bottom of the screen – send love, and the magic began. I select which Lovebox I am sending the message to and start designing my message.

There is a premium subscription that you can purchase, which gives you far more professionally designed templates. Me, I was okay with the ones included. Maybe over time, I will become bored of the free templates and decide to branch out with a paid subscription.

It really is a great experience creating the designs. Everything works well, and it’s easy to design the perfect message. You don’t have to be well-schooled in tech to write your note.

You can add text, an emoji, stickers, a drawing, photos, and your camera for taking a photo. You can also select from a prebuilt template.

Why Not Use Your Phone?

This is the question you’re probably trying to figure out. Why do I even need a Lovebox? Why can’t I use my phone and send a digital love note?

The answer is you can! But the Lovebox gives you a completely different experience.

First, the Lovebox would be excellent for those more technologically challenged. When a message comes in, the heart will spin. You lift the lid to read the message. You can spin the heart to reply with a heart of your own.

It’s so easy to send and receive messages.

Maybe you have a mother who is alone at home. You can use the Lovebox to send pictures of the grandkids. Your mother will find viewing the messages and pictures easy – just lift the lid.

I also love the whole “different” experience with the Lovebox. We use phones daily, and the Lovebox adds that surprise and intriguing aspect to your relationship.

I do believe it’s perfect for any long-distance relationships, especially those in different time zones. Nothing lightens up your day like a message waiting when you get home from a hectic day at the office.

Verdict: Does it Make Your Life Better?

Yes. It sure does.

I don’t think the Lovebox is for everyone and will work for every situation. Still, It’s an excellent gadget for bringing relationships together – even in different countries.

I love the surprise aspect of the Lovebox. I personally felt excited when I saw that heart spin!

I gave the Lovebox to my mother-in-law and used it to send pictures of the grandkids and encouragement throughout the day. She loved it.

She said that the first thing she would do when she got home was to check the Lovebox to see if there was a message. It made her day when the heart started to spin.

So, if you’re on the fence about the Lovebox, dive in.
