The ol’ briefcase. It hasn’t changed much over the years. I still remember my first briefcase with the double snap when you opened the two locks and that old boxy design. It was simple, had limited storage, and didn’t help you organize your things. Everything you put in that briefcase was all banging around. It was a mess.
When I heard that the makers of xSuit designed a briefcase, I knew it would be a game changer. Our website focuses on products, services, and hacks that make our life and homes better, and when I got my hands on this xBriefcase, I knew I had to share my experience with my readers.
I reached out to xSuit to see if they would send me the xBriefcase for review, and they were kind enough to do so. Even though xSuit sent me this briefcase, I always give my honest opinion and observations. Let’s jump into the review.
I used the xBriefcase for several days to test it out, and this is how it all went down.

xBriefcase Features
I don’t want to just give you a list of features that you can find on their website, but the features are based on my observations of the product.
If you’re looking for a list of the all features, you can check out their website here.
Finally, a briefcase that is both durable and stylish. The xBriefcase offers 19 smart pockets, drop protection, scratch resistant, is super comfortable, and comes with a lifetime warranty.
- Durable and Premium Quality
- Comfortable to Hold
- Organizes Your Things
- Apple Airtag Holder
- Key Holder
- Can Get Heavy
When you get this briefcase, it’s inside a nice dust bag which is used when storing. The dust bag is black with the “X” logo printed on the front.

You can tell that the xBriefcase is designed by someone that uses a briefcase right out of the gate. All of the features are well thought out.
Exterior Features
First, let’s look at the exterior. It’s a premium product that’s made with premium materials. The ballistic nylon feels premium to the touch and you can tell it’s ultra-durable. The briefcase is water-proof, scratch-resistant, and gives you lots of drop protection by adding lots of padding around the base of the briefcase.
When you first hold the briefcase in your hands you notice the quality, design, and attention to detail. The zippers on the briefcase are great quality (Hand-polished nickel hardware) the small details like premium-quality zippers are what make this briefcase durable, waterproof, and high-end.

I added a laptop and a 12″ iPad to this briefcase and it all fits nicely. I found it a little heavy with all the gear I packed into it, but it’s comfortable to carry around. The premium-bio leather strap is extra padded and comfortable to carry, and the shoulder strap is also comfortable on my shoulder.
One other feature that I love is the built-in holder for an Apple Airtag. I mean, this is a brilliant idea and when you have it full of tech, a tracker is a great idea.
Interior Features
Secondly, let’s look inside this briefcase. This excited me, and I was shocked by how much this briefcase could store and organize for me.
I love that all of the pockets are labeled with suggestions of what should be put inside.
All of the main compartments on the outside of the xBriefcase have zippers: main compartment, front u-pocket, and back pocket. The front U-pocket has nice pockets that are labeled and fit all my cords, HDDs, and cables. I love how it helps me organize my devices and keeps everything safe.

One of the simplest, but smartest designs is the removable key chain that you can snap on or off. I now always know where my keys should be.
The main pocket has four compartments (one large which I use for my iPad, and then three others), one being a hard shell pocket for your sunglasses. This protects your sunglasses from getting smashed or scratched.
There is a built-in laptop sleeve that fits a laptop up to 16″ and it uses magnetic snaps to hold it into place. It means you don’t have to worry about it bouncing around and protecting it if you drop your briefcase.

The back compartment has another zipper pocket and an opening for the concealed zip sleeve for luggage.
I was surprised how much room was available in this briefcase, and how well it organized my things. It’s remarkable. I have a lot of devices and tech that I carry with me to work each day, and so I was pleased to know that it’s not only protected but also nice and organized.
Using the xBriefcase
I loved using this premium briefcase! I mentioned at the beginning of this article that this briefcase was designed by someone who used a briefcase every day because everything is so well thought-out and practical.
Just the simple feature of having a keychain attached to your briefcase is a game changer.
I’m not surprised that xSuit would create a briefcase of this quality because of the quality of their suits. The xSuit is designed for comfort and durability, and that’s exactly what I thought of when I started using this briefcase. Quality. Comfort.

This quality means that the briefcase gets heavy. Not just from all of the items you put into it, but the materials are high-quality materials that add some weight. With all the trimming, padding, extra stitching, handles, and shoulder strap – it all adds to the overall weight. Yet, in my opinion, it’s all worth it.
I love the design of this briefcase. It’s so stylish and feels luxurious to hold. All of the metal trims add to its design and quality. It wasn’t made with cheap materials or with a cheap design. The extra stitching, the heavy-duty hardware, the extra thick handles, the extra durable materials, and the padded shoulder strap all add to this briefcase’s quality.

The xBriefcase has metal feet on the bottom that keeps it upright when placed on the floor. You just have to make sure it’s not sitting on the shoulder strap, or it’s going to tip over.
The pockets in the interior are all soft and protect my devices from stretches, and I have plenty of room for everything I need. I love this briefcase and don’t have many bad things to say about it.
What I Loved About the xBriefcase
I don’t want to be repetitive here, but some features stand out to me while using it for some time.
I love the quality and protection that it gives all my devices. I carry a 16″ Macbook Pro and a 12″ iPad inside this thing, and there’s lots of room for both. The extra padding and design to protect those devices from drops are amazing as well.
This isn’t just a practical briefcase, it’s also stylish. I love the look of this briefcase, and others have told me that it was a “sexy briefcase.”
Overall, well-designed and the quality is superb.
What I Didn’t Like
I seriously would be reaching here.
I guess, I didn’t like the overall weight. My eleven-year-old daughter had a hard time lifting it. It may be overkill for some people, with all the pockets and protection. The material isn’t soft, it’s pretty rugged which may be a turn-off for some people.
It would be nice to have different colors and not just black. I could say that the laptop sleeve was hard to get back in place, and getting my 16″ Macbook Pro inside the sleeve was a challenge. It’s a snug fit.
Other than that (I will keep this article updated), I’m finding it hard not to love this briefcase. I do think it’s amazing.
By the way, I had a briefcase and two other laptop cases before the xBriefcase and I am glad to see them go. The xBriefcase is the most practical briefcase on the market today.
How Much Does the xBriefcase Cost?
The xBriefcase isn’t the cheapest briefcase on the market, but it’s also not the most expensive. The price is around $399, and this also includes a lifetime warranty. I think it’s a great deal for the last briefcase that you’ll ever need. Comparable to other briefcases of this quality on the market today, this is great value.

I couldn’t think of a single feature that was missing from this briefcase that could make it better. Maybe they could add a battery for charging your devices, but of course, this will make it even heavier.
What features are they missing? Use the comment section below to tell us what you think they missed on the xBriefcase and maybe you’ll see that feature in the next version.
