In a world of smart devices, there is none as surprising to me as a smart toilet.

I’ve heard of smart toothbrushes, smart lights, smart TVs, and even smart cars, but smart toilets?

How did we get to this place in our world that even our toilets are smart? But it’s where we find ourselves. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t a bad thing, but is owning a smart toilet necessary?

I’m just going to be frank with you, have we gotten to this place in our society where we’re too lazy to flush a toilet, or do these smart toilets offer more than meets the eye. Are smart toilets more of a sanitary thing than a convenience thing?

Now, before we jump into everything that these educated toilets can offer us, just take note that these highly-trained machines are not cheap.

How Much Do Smart Toliets Cost?

It’s probably going to cost you between $1500-$2500 for a smart toilet, which is a big difference from $100 for a, I guess I would call it, an original one.

So what in the world is all the hype when it comes to these smart toilets and why would anyone spend $2000 for one.

Let’s do some investigating.

What Features Do Smart Toliets Offer

Open and Close Techology

If you sprinkle when you tickle then be a sweetie and wipe the seatie!

Sitting in pee isn’t any fun! I hate for you to have that mental picture in your mind, but it has to be said. Marriages split up over a man not lifting up the toilet seat – you know that it’s true.

Well, after all of these years the marriage savior has been invented. It’s a toilet that automatically lifts when you walk up to it. This may actually be worth the 2k just for this feature alone.

Smart Toilets and Features

Think about how many marriages this smart toilet is going to save. Also, before we talk about how lazy it is for someone to buy a toilet that lifts the toilet seat by itself, the actual conversation should be that no man actually does it.

Automatic Flush

When you’re business is complete, how crazy is it to own a toilet that flushes it all away for you without you lifting a finger.

That’s right, smart toilets commonly automatically flush when you’re all done and you stand up.

But wait! There is more.

This is pretty crazy! When you’re all done and you stand, the toilet will automatically enable its bidet/spray wand that will begin to spray and clean the toilet. Toilets get very dirty over time and it’s a really good idea to clean them every day, but nobody’s got time for that.

This is some serious business. I mean, come on ladies, a toilet that cleans itself. Can this actually be true? Yep, it sure is.

Most smart toilets have some sort of cleaning abilities. Some would be better than others, that’s for sure, but most of them will be able to do a little tidying around before another guest comes over.

Before we condemn this idea, just remember that we all embraced the idea of a roaming robot vacuuming our floors. This isn’t that crazy of an idea.

Massage and Cleaning Functions

The toilet isn’t the only thing that’s going to be clean with this device. I hope you get where I’m going with this so that I don’t have to get into much more detail.

Smart toilets have famine cleaning functions and offer oscillating and pulsating massage and cleaning technology.

Think about how much money you’ll save on toilet paper? Wow. This is a big breakthrough.

I know that during the pandemic, bidets were all sold out. These smart toilets have you covered. I know, I heard it too.

A Heated Seat

I came for the cleaning and stayed for the heated seat.

This thing is like a new car (It kinda costs the same as one). Do you remember the days when they used to have metal toilet seats in the winter months? All of those people that had to experience that exact situation should receive a smart toilet for free. I mean, c’mon.

You’re in bed on a cold, winter morning and you sit down on the can and realize, wait a minute, I have a smart toilet and the seat is so nice and warm.

You’ll never be able to get a man off this toilet. Let’s just add a TV and call it a man’s den.

Air Dyer

I cannot believe I am seeing this.

Once the rinse is all complete, you can use the air dryer to make sure that everything is clean and dry. This is obviously going to keep rashes and other bad things from forming around those delicate areas.

Of course, if your hair dryer breaks you can always just stick your head in the toilet. I joke! Please don’t do that.

A Air Deodorizer

When it’s all said and done, the best toilet is one that automatically takes away any evidence that you were even there. It’s like the cherry on the ice cream sundae or even better, the air freshener in that new car.

In all gravity, smart toilets will deodorize the air, and bring world peace. Well, maybe not world peace, but household peace for sure.

LED Lights

Lights make everything better. It’s true for hot tubs, it has to be true for toilets.

This is the icing on the cake, you’ll never have to worry about losing your toilet in the night. The LED light will guarantee that you’ll always find it.

All joking aside, I have missed before in the middle of the night, so I know how valuable a LED light in a toilet really is. I mean, it just makes perfect sense to me.

Touch-Screen Remote

Most smart toilets give you all the control right in the palm of your hand. You’re able to control the settings of your toilet from anywhere in your home.

It’s also good if you’re bored, you can plan with the toilets settings.

Honey, why is our toilet flushing blue lights and shooting water into the air? Ummmmmm. I have no idea, dear.

Let’s just hope you don’t get hacked.

If anyone receives an email from my toilet, don’t open it.

A Really Good Smart Toliet

I know, that I’ve written this article with a little humor. But I really do believe that smart toilets are the way of the future. In fact, in the coming years, I think many of these features will be found on most toilets – smart or simple-minded.

So, what is a solid offering in the smart toilet space?

There are some really great models available for you. One of the best that I have discovered is the WOODBRIDGE B-0960S Toilet that’s actually available on Amazon.

Woodbridge has been making toilets for a very long time, and so when I read that they created a smart toilet, I had to check it out. When I read everything that their toilets could do, I laughed and I cried, and I decided to give it a try.

WOODBRIDGE B-0960S Toilet Review

The WOODBRIDGE B-0960S Toilet gives you a modern design, all the features that I listed above, and a USA-based support team to back it all up.

Installing the toilet didn’t take long at all, and it worked like a dream. Well, I guess that depends if you dream about toilets.

You don’t just have to take my word for it, there are lots of people online that have the same opinion as me. In fact, its online rating is 4.5/5 – that’s incredible for any device.

I really don’t think that smart toilets are going anywhere, I think we’ll see more and more companies jump into producing them.

My Conlcusion

At the end of the day, living in a world with these types of conveniences is actually pretty incredible. We are blessed to have toilets with heated seats, open and close the lid automatically, and are lit at night with a friendly blue LED light.

We have come so far as a society that we’re now offering toilets that know more than they really should.

Here is the question that I want you to honestly answer, would you purchase a smart toilet for your home? C’mon, you can be honest. Maybe it’s already in your cart.
