This portable ice maker looks very futuristic.

It has a stainless steel design that is wrapped around the entire unit. The stainless steel is anti-fingerprint, so your ice maker always looks clean. The top lid is plastic and is easy to open. I really liked using the large viewing window on the ice maker’s lid to see if I had any ice available.

The front panel on the front of the ice maker is curved upward so it’s facing you. It’s also great for sticking under your kitchen cabinets, and the design allows you to easily open the lid.

On the panel, you’ll find an LED display that gives you all the indicators that you need – water and ice supply, as well as the power indicator light and ice size.

I also found that the ice storage bin is well insulated. I filled the bin with ice and returned in a few hours, and there was still lots of ice for my beverage.

This portable ice maker is also pretty light for a unit that produces 33 pounds of ice. It weighs 23 pounds, which means it’s easy to carry around and move to different places in your home. I didn’t move it around. I just put it on my countertop and left it there. The dimensions for this ice maker is 9×15.3×16.5 inches, so it’s a nice compact design.

Overall, it’s a different design than any other portable ice maker that I have reviewed, but the Dreamiracle Portable Ice Maker seems to be a solid machine.

The Operation of the Dreamiracle Portable Ice Maker

To operate this portable ice maker it’s simple.

One of the great features of portable ice makers is that you do not need to be close to a water source. You add water into the water reservoir using a pitcher, and then the ice maker produces ice anywhere in your home or business. You do add any drain or water lines to the unit at all.

I added the water into the 2.8-liter water reservoir and used the LED panel on the front of the unit. I powered it on, and then select the size of ice by using the [Select] button. I then hit the [Start] button to begin the ice-making process. Within a couple of moments, I was making ice for my beverage, and in about 10 minutes I had my first pieces of ice.

I found the ice maker to be pretty quiet. I’ve reviewed so many portable ice makers over the last 300 days, and I found that this unit is one of the quietest that I’ve used.

It’s also really easily to operate. It took me no time at all, to get this unit setup and making ice.

The self-Cleaning feature is wonderful and saves a lot of time. It’s important to keep your portable ice maker clean at all times, and the self-cleaning feature gives you the ability to clean your unit faster.

The Dreamiracle Portable Ice Maker produces 33 pounds of bullet-shaped ice each day. It produces ice in just 7 minutes – so it’s really fast.

The storage bin on this ice maker holds 3.3 pounds of ice at one time, and the storage bin is well insulated – so you’re ice will stick around longer.

This portable ice maker produces 2 types of ice sizes – small and large. I mentioned that this ice maker produces bullet-shaped ice, which is very versatile.

I use bullet ice a lot throughout the day, it works well for so many different situations – I love using bullet-shaped ice for my beverages and blending it in my smoothies.

Overall, this is a simple portable ice maker that works well. It produces enough ice for our family 5 and is compact, so it fits nicely in my kitchen.

My Conclusion

I like this ice maker.

There are some people that complain that their unit broke or was damaged on delivery. This is common for any ice maker – sometimes things happen.

I did find that most people online were happy with their purchase.

Also, the price is reasonable for the quality that you receive. Most of the portable ice makers you would purchase at this price point would produce 28 pounds of ice each day – the Dreamiracle Portable Ice Maker has a slight edge at 33 pounds of ice every 24 hours.

At the end of the day, it makes ice and that’s why you purchase it.
